At Jacka Brothers Brewery, we appreciate how exciting hosting a function can be, but we also understand that it can be stressful. There are many details that go into making an event perfect. We get it, and we’re here to help. The Jacka Brothers' philosophy is simple – make it as easy as possible for everyone who attends so family and friends can relax, celebrate and enjoy time together.

Jacka Brothers Brewery is no ordinary venue in no typical country town. Built in 1877, the brewery stands a few minutes walk from the Melrose main street and is surrounded by character-laden, heritage-listed buildings that have been lovingly restored into a purpose-built event venue over the last five years. The brewery, a legend of the mid-north for over one hundred years, is set to become one of Australia's most iconic country event venues.

Located in the mid-north of South Australia, we’re only 3 hours north of Adelaide. Situated on the southernmost tip of the ancient Flinders Ranges, it is a five-minute stroll to Mount Remarkable National Park. Melrose is the oldest regional town in South Australia, adorned with beautiful, rustic stone buildings, quiet country roads and a unique character all of its own. Walking trails, tennis courts, cafés, country pubs, and some of the state's best mountain biking and bushwalking are all there to enjoy and just minutes away.  

Crackling log fires bring the historic stone walls to life at night, creating a unique, warm atmosphere under a billion stars. Your event will be remembered long after the morning headaches have faded!

Please ensure you make a weekend of your event, so you, your family and friends can escape the ‘real world’, relax and savour your celebration. With exclusive venue use and accommodation on site, you park up and everything is within easy walking distance, no need for taxi’s, buses or fancy limousines, although you could ride in on a horse!

Our complementary Venue Manager will work with you to create the event you want, without locking you into one-size-fits-all packages. Our venue can accommodate 120 people for a cocktail-style or sit-down reception. We can organise catering for you, or if you prefer, you can provide your own caterer. Also, we can provide beverages, or if you prefer, you can provide your own and pay a corkage fee.
